Remington Robinson is a painter who creates realistic miniature oil paintings that he displays inside mint tins. He began creating watercolor paintings in July 2017 and quickly transitioned to miniature oil paintings in November 2017.
Remington said he was inspired after seeing someone else do it and thought it was fun and portable. "I've done a lot of detailed photorealism paintings in the past, and I thought it would be fun to do realism all the time without committing to spending weeks and weeks on one painting," he added. You can see some of his most beautiful works in the gallery below.

"My creative process fluctuates with my feelings, which are always evolving," the artist said of his working process. I enjoy traveling to new places and gaining new perspectives. I'm inspired by lighting and weather. I occasionally enjoy stepping outside of my comfort zone – for example, by experimenting with different limited palettes, painting something new, and so on."
