Storm is an eight-year-old Haflinger mare from the Netherlands. Her long, wavy hair has made her a star on social media sites like Instagram.
Naomi Beckers, a student and entrepreneur who is 24 years old, bought Storm from her previous owner two years ago because she fell in love with her beautiful hair, which is blonde and curly like her own. The lovely mare hadn't cut her hair since she was two years old, and she already had many social media fans when Naomi bought her. So, she made a new Instagram account for Storm so that people who liked her could follow her. She had no idea it would become so popular. Storm is now one of the most famous horses on Instagram, where people share photos. She has almost 42,000 followers.
Naomi told Bit Magazine, "I was going to post a few pictures on it from time to time, but people kept asking me when I was going to post another picture." "It's getting a little out of hand, but it's great that it's grown so much!"
The long, beautiful hair on Haflinger horses is well-known, but Storm's hair is longer than most. When she was about three years old, her curly hair was already past her shoulders, and her owner decided to let it grow even longer, only braiding it to keep it safe. Storm's hair has grown longer and longer over the last six years. It is now over one meter long, so people call her "Rapunzel" after the famous character from a children's story.
