Thyago has seen a lot of things while driving on some of the worst roads, but nothing could have prepared him for what he saw that month.
Thyago and his friend were driving along the roads of Brazil, taking in the beautiful scenery and enjoying the smell of the fresh air, when he suddenly stopped in his tracks.
Five puppies were in a small, fist-shaped hole in the middle of nowhere. They came in different brown shapes and had innocent-looking eyes, black noses, and tiny paws. Thyago was most surprised by how fragile they looked.
The puppies were pulled out of the hole quickly but carefully, as if they were cotton. They were then given some water, which they drank.
Thyago knew he couldn't leave the puppies to care for themselves, so he and his friend decided to take them home. How would they do that? That was the question.
The two friends split the five puppies between them. They unzipped their clothes, put them on their chests, and slowly zipped them back up to ensure the puppies would be safe and get to a safe place.
Back at home, Thyago nursed the five puppies back to health, and it didn't take long for them to grow into five beautiful puppies. The next step was to find them homes where they could stay for good.
Thyago worked hard to find safe homes for each of the puppies where he knew they would be loved.
Thyago saved the lives of not just one puppy but five.
